💡 Strategy

This strategy is super easy to follow! All you do is bet on Italian Serie A games in the Double Chance market for the favourite to Win or Draw. It doesn’t matter if the favourite is playing at home or away, as long as the odds for them to Win or Draw are between 1.1 (1/10) and 1.4 (2/5). Here’s the exciting twist: instead of betting on single games, you combine all the qualifying games in a round into a system bet for even bigger potential rewards!

Reminder: A system bet is a way to place multiple bets at once, but you don’t have to win all of them to get a payout. It combines several smaller bet combinations from your selections, so even if one or more bets lose, you can still win money. It’s great for reducing risk while still having a chance to win big!

Here's how it works:

If the Double Chance odds for the favourite to Win or Draw are between 1.1 (1/10) and 1.4 (2/5), we add that game to a system bet slip and place a bet on the favourite to either win or draw.

Examples from Round 1 of the 2023-24 Italian Serie A Season:

• Frozinone vs. Napoli: Napoli is the favourite to win this game and the double chance odds for them to win or draw are 1.12 (3/25), which is between 1.1 (1/10) and 1.4 (2/5), so we bet on Napoli or Draw and add this bet to our system bet slip.

• Empoli vs. Verona: Empoli is the favourite to win this game but the double chance odds for them to win or draw are 1.42 (21/50), which is NOT between 1.1 (1/10) and 1.4 (2/5), so we skip this game and do not bet on it.

📈 Stats

On average, about 80.4% of all games in the the Italian Serie A end with either the favourite winning or a draw.

This means betting on the Double Chance market for the favourite to win or draw can work well if we manage to avoid games where the favourite loses. The idea is to bet only when the odds are between 1.1 (1/10) and 1.4 (2/5). Also, to increase the payout for these games as the odds are low, we combine the qualifying games in each round into a system bet.

⭐ Testing

We tested this strategy over the past three seasons of the Italian Serie A (2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24). Starting from Round 1, we placed a total of £10 on each system bet slip. Each slip included all the games in the round where the double chance odds for the favourite to win or draw were between 1.1 (1/10) and 1.4 (2/5).

For the 2021-22 season, we placed money on 38 system bet slips (containing 259 games in total). As a result, we made net profit of £57.74, which is an ROI of 15.2%.

For the 2022-23 season, we placed money on 38 system bet slips (containing 262 games in total). As a result, we made net profit of £26.05, which is an ROI of 6.9%.

For the 2023-24 season, we placed money on 38 system bet slips (containing 269 games in total). As a result, we made net profit of £164.11, which is an ROI of 43.2%.
