💡 Strategy

This strategy is easy to follow. We bet on one team to win every single game they play in the English Premier League.

Here's how it works:

1. Pick a Team: Choose a team that’s likely to win a lot — we chose Man City, as they were the top team after Round 6.

2. Start from Round 7: Use this strategy from Round 7 onward, as it helps you see which team is likely to be in the top of the table and achieve more wins.

Example from Round 7 of the 2023-24 Premier League Season:

• Wolves vs. Man City: As we have selected to bet on all Man City games, we bet on Man City to win.

• Bournemouth vs. Arsenal: Arsenal is the favourite to win and is in the top 4 before Round 7. But since our strategy is to bet only on Man City, we skip this game and don't place a bet.

📈 Stats

On average, the favourite team wins 59% of the time in the Premier League.

This means betting on favourites can be successful if we avoid most games where the favourite doesn’t win. For example, we only bet on one team that’s the favourite to win the league. This way, we’re confident that the team will win a lot of games during the season.

⭐ Testing

We tested this strategy over the past season of the English Premier League (2023-24). Starting from Round 7, we bet £10 on Man City to win in each game they played.

For the 2023-24 season, we placed bets on 32 games. We won 69% of those bets, making a net profit of £-28.60, which is an ROI of -8.9%.
