Bet On Top 4 Teams In The Premier League

What if we bet on top 4 teams to always win?

Hey Friend,

Are you excited for our new football betting strategy this week? Take a look below!

💡 Strategy

This strategy is simple. We bet on the top four teams to win each game in the Premier League. If both teams are in the top four, we bet on a draw.

Here's how it works:

For each game, if a team is in the top 4 before the game starts, we bet one unit on that team to win. If both teams are in the top 4, we bet one unit on a draw. We start betting from Round 6 when the rankings are more meaningful.

Example from Round 6 of the 2023-24 Premier League Season:

Just before the start of Round 6, the teams in top four are:

  1. Manchester City

  2. Tottenham

  3. Liverpool

  4. Arsenal

  • Liverpool vs. West Ham: Liverpool is in the top 4 before Round 6 starts and West Ham is not, so we bet on Liverpool to win.

  • Arsenal vs. Tottenham: Both Arsenal and Tottenham are in the top 4 before the round starts, so we bet on a draw.

  • Burnley vs. Manchester United: Neither team is in the top 4 before Round 6, so we skip this game and don't bet on it.

📈 Stats

On average, the favourite team wins 59% of the time in the Premier League.

This means betting on favourites can be successful if we avoid most games where the favourite doesn’t win. For example, we can bet only on teams in the top four, since they are more likely to win.

⭐ Testing

We tested this strategy over the past season of the English Premier League (2023-24). Starting from Round 6, we bet £10 on each game with top 4 teams. If only one team was in the top 4, we bet on that team to win. If both teams were in the top 4, we bet on a draw.

For the 2023-24 season, we placed bets on 102 games. We won 66% of those bets, making a net profit of £84.20, which is an ROI of 2.7%.

🚀 Bet Or Regret?

Betting on the top four teams to win, and betting on a draw when they play each other, worked okay in our tests. We made a small profit, but losing a few more games would have meant losing money. You can BET using this strategy if you're okay with the risk and only making a small profit.

DISCLAIMER: Past results don't guarantee future success. Only bet what you can afford to lose and do your own research too.
